Testimonial - Beautiful, Resilient Doe

This piece of artwork was a gift of encouragement to me by the artist Grace. She received from God the inspiration to paint a beautiful doe for me. The eyes of the doe are gentle, lovely and tender. The doe is beautiful and graceful and I read that deer have incredible maternal instincts.

The art spoke to me that God sees me like a graceful, beautiful, loving and tender deer and mother to my child. Deer are also nimble and resilient, so likewise I will always find a way from hard places to better outcomes.

This painting also reminds me of Isaiah 35 where in verse 6 it says "the lame shall leap like a deer", referring to sudden restoration of strength and joy, a powerful work of the Lord that supercedes and takes over the previous season of hopelessness and brings miraculous abundance and life. It encourages me to press on in hope and holding on to God especially in times of difficulty and struggle.
