For this painting, every child designed his/her own fish - chose the shape of the fish, the colours and the embellishments. Every fish is an extension of the little artist who created it - unique, vibrant, articulate, beautiful!
This is how we at Character Montessori regard each child. Thus Treasures of the Deep echoes the deep beliefs of Ms Grace the Founding Principal and her dedicated team, that every child carries within great potential, dreams, beauty... essentially, they are gems that we need to unearth and polish to shine!

All seven colours of the rainbow — representing the hopes and dreams of our children for Singapore — come together in this painting. It reflects a bright and promising future, one that our children will shape as we guide them with the same values that built our nation: unity, diligence, and care for one another.
Our K1 and K2 children, together with Grace, worked as a community — discussing ideas, respecting each other’s choices, and showing creativity, patience, and focus to bring this artwork to life. Every child designed his/her own helicopter, communicating the unique way he/she sees the world, and relates to it..

The bright bursts of fireworks light up the night sky, symbolising the strength, spirit, and unity of our Lion City. Even after 60 years, Singapore still carries the roar that brings hope and light through dark and challenging times.
Our greatest hope lies in our children — in their creativity, curiosity, and zest for life. As they grow to be kind, resilient, and responsible individuals, they become the brilliant sparks that will continue to light Singapore’s future.
Together with Grace, our K1 and K2 children worked with focus, teamwork, and joy to create this vibrant piece — each brushstroke of fireworks a reflection of their excitement and pride.
